Watch the Delve Recycled Episode of The BC Story Project

Networking is a mysterious and powerful thing. When Camille of Pop Media reached out in April 2026, she explained that we'd met briefly at a luncheon in Prince George the year previous. She was working on "The BC Story Project" with her business partner and husband, Dan. The two were interested in doing an episode on Delve Recycled, as part of their new documentary series uncovering the beauty, strangeness, and spirit that define British Columbia.

A quick look at their portfolio, and a flip through their project proposal made it an easy yes from me. The pair drove down from Mackenzie in May and we spend a full day together talking about Delve. Cameras, microphones, a well-planned shoot. I've told my story many times, framed it for grant applications, conference introductions - but never with someone piecing together the arc.
This week, the series launched on the BC Story Project Youtube channel. Delve Recycled is featured in Episode 2. The five-minute episode is beautifully filmed. Watching it back, it makes me proud. I'm surrounded by friends and family so incredibly supportive, and by equipment and capacity I didn't have a few years ago. Delve is a fledgling but the opportunity and vision are inviting.

Thank you to Camille and Dan for making the trip, for the questions that got past the version of this story I usually tell, and for a film I'm genuinely proud to share. The BC Story Project has more episodes coming throughout the year - worth a subscribe if you want to see who else they find.
